"Mind Whammy's are SO not that easy!"

Rocky turned. "Really?"

"Really. I am telling you, you can't just wave your hand around and make someone do something!"

Adam chuckled from his spot on the couch, and tightened his grip on his girlfriend. "No?"

"No! Touching is involved. This totally wouldn't work!" Sabra protested.

"We'll make sure to tell Lucas that." Jason said with a smile.

Sabra nodded once seemingly satisfied for the moment. The group or as much as they could get together was at Adam and Rocky's apartment for a Star Wars festival. Much to Jason's horror, he'd found out that Sabra had never seen the entire trilogy and neither had her roommate, Flip. The girls were home for a much needed break from UC Berkeley for the weekend. Flip had become a favorite of the group, since her induction 2 months ago.

"How do you know about Mind Whammys?" Flip asked.

"Didn't she tell you? That's one of her specialties. Rumor has it that's how she snagged Adam." Rocky replied with a grin.

"I did not! I pulled him out of that river fair and square. Not my fault he fell for his nurse." Sabra retorted. "Besides Mind Whammy's are easy, just have to touch bare skin is all. You can do it with clothing, but it's harder."

"So I can Mind Whammy you?" Rocky asked.

"No. But Adam can, he just doesn't like to. Doesn't like using any of his powers at all."

"Don't start." Adam warned. He didn't want to get into it with her. Not tonight.

Sabra rolled her eyes, but acquiesced. It was something they usually got into about once a month. Adam wasn't comfortable with the power that he'd been, according to him, foisted with, and Sabra kept at him to use it and get familiar with it. They just went round and round on the issue, usually agreeing to disagree.

"Have you ever Mind Whammied me?" Flip asked, as she thought back on past decisions. "Would I even know if you did?"

"Uh…yes, I mean no. No, I have never Mind Whammied you, and no you wouldn't know anyway." Sabra replied.

Flip frowned at her, but let it slide. She had 3 hours tomorrow to grill her roomie all about this Mind Whammy thing. She had a feeling it had to deal with that whole sorceress thing that Flip was determined to find out about, and Sabra was equally determined not to talk about.

"She has Mind Whammied Rocky so many times that he no longer knows which decisions are his and which aren't." Billy added from his spot on the floor.

"Really?" Flip asked. She hadn't quite figured out when this shy, really cute, guy was playing with her mind or when he was being serious.

"No! I can make my own decisions. And that was only that one time that we're not talking about." Rocky retorted.

"Just because you got drunk and ended up in bed with your cousin…" Adam remarked.

"I said we're not talking about it." Rocky snapped back, pointing at his best friend while holding a can of root beer.

Flip looked at Billy for confirmation, but the blond only shrugged, and gave her a half-smile.

"Would you guys shut up? This is the best part of the whole movie!" Jason declared.

"Now wait. I've seen this part. This part has probably the worst acting ever." Sabra retorted getting up from the couch.

"Where are you going?" Flip asked, starting to get up herself.

"Just going to get some popcorn. I can handle it, girly. Sit and enjoy the movie and the cute mens." Sabra replied with a smirk as she disappeared into the small kitchen.

Flip blushed to the roots of her dark hair as she suddenly realized she was the only female in the room. Just her, surrounded by mostly single men. My, but life was good.
